DMCA & Copyright Policy

Last updated: 23 October 2026. Varesteam4K responds to copyright notices sent under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. §512) and equivalent laws.

Our position

Varesteam4K respects the rights of copyright owners. We are a subscription service that delivers streams supplied by upstream sources; we do not create, produce or own the content carried on the line-up. Where we are notified that material accessible through this service infringes a copyright, we act on that notice.

How to send a notice

If you own a copyright, or are authorised to act for the owner, and you believe material accessible through this service infringes it, send us a written notice through our contact channel. To be actionable under the DMCA, a notice must include all six of the following:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorised to act on their behalf.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or a representative list where multiple works are covered by a single notice.
  3. Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it — the exact channel name as it appears in the line-up, or the exact URL.
  4. Information reasonably sufficient for us to contact you: your full name, postal address and a telephone number.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and — under penalty of perjury — that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on their behalf.

A notice missing any of these six elements may not be actionable, and we may ask you to supply what is missing before we can proceed.

What happens after we receive a notice

  • We acknowledge valid notices and begin review promptly, normally within 48 hours.
  • Where a notice is valid, we remove or disable access to the identified material, or pass the notice to the upstream supplier responsible for that feed and require the same.
  • We record the notice and the action taken.
  • We do not charge a fee for processing a notice.

Counter-notification

If you believe material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice containing:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the material removed and the location at which it appeared before removal.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your full name, postal address and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the district in which your address is located (or, if your address is outside the United States, any judicial district in which we may be found).

Repeat infringers

We maintain and enforce a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of subscribers who are repeat infringers.

A note on misrepresentation

Under 17 U.S.C. §512(f), a person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages, including costs and legal fees. Please be sure of your claim before sending a notice.

Trade marks

Channel names, network names, logos and trade marks referred to on this site belong to their respective owners and appear only to describe content that may be carried. Their appearance does not imply endorsement, affiliation or sponsorship. Trade mark concerns can be raised through the same channel as copyright notices.
